Russell’s Farewell

 Hi Everyone,

The time has finally come for this fledgling Chiropractor to leave the safety of the nest and spread his wings. I wanted to take this opportunity to let everyone know, if I haven’t yet had the chance to tell you in person, that soon I will be leaving Canning Healthcare. My last day will be Saturday March 11th.

It feels like the right time to say thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey that has helped build me as a Chiropractor and as a human to the point that I can take this next step in my career.

In the spirit of Harry Potter, I have put your names all into a sorting hat for him to choose who is right for you. When he has chosen for you, I will let you know.

Just kidding, of course. In the lead up to the end of my time here I have been preparing the other Chiropractors to take over care of my patients. They already have access to my notes for your treatment history but wherever possible I am also giving a verbal hand over so that the transition is as seamless as possible. We all have our own way of treating but you can rest assured you are in good hands.

Lastly, I’d like to say my thanks.

I’d like to thank my work colleagues for the fun times, the banter and comradery. I’d like to thank my patients for the opportunity to serve and to learn from you. It has been a pleasure. And lastly I’d like to thank Chris and Cherie for taking a chance on this new grad chiro-kid in 2014. Thank you for giving me a home here at Canning Healthcare (Centre) – for those who remember. Who’d have thought your favorite all time employee (of course) would have come from a casual name drop from family friend of mine who was under your care way back when. I can safely say I wouldn’t be here without you all.
