Acupressure for Anxiety & Stress

We understand there are higher than normal anxiety levels for a lot of people due to the changes in our routines at the moment. Acupuncturist Jasmine would like to show you some acupressure points that may help to ease anxiety.

Acupressure point one (PC6):
PC6 refers to the deeper internal influences and connections. This point can be located on the inner wrist, two thumb widths down from the crease of the wrist joint, in the centre between the two prominent tendons you can feel. This point is used to unbind a tight chest due to stress, calm the spirit and also to alleviate nausea.

Acupressure point two (HT3):
HT3 refers to the flow of energy through this point. Often the flow of water in nature from the spring to the sea is used to describe the way the Qi or energy travels through the Acupuncture channels. HT3 can be located at the inner elbow crease, at the end of the crease closest facing the body. This point is on the Heart Channel in Chinese Medicine, giving it a calming quality.
